compstuff
I took a fully updated WIN7x64 image that has IE11 integrated and then ran WTK v25 to try and change the default search provider to Google. It adds the it but leaves Bing as the default. Settings.txtRegistry.txt
Legolash2o
I'ev made some changes which has stopped IE11 from saying it's corrupted. However I don't know how to stop it from saying that an unknown program is trying to change the search and asks if agree or not.

compstuff
I had tried XML before with no luck but I never used the "ScopeKey" value. I will wait till Lego makes his next release since he thinks he solved it which is amazing since I spent countless hrs trying to get this ti work :prop: Can u try Autounattend.xml<component name="Microsoft-Windows-IE-InternetExplorer" processorArchitecture="x86" publicKeyToken="31bf3856ad364e35" language="neutral" versionScope="nonSxS" xmlns:wcm="http://schemas.microsoft.com/WMIConfig/2002/State" xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance"> <SearchScopes> <Scope wcm:action="add"> <ScopeDefault>true</ScopeDefault> <ScopeDisplayName>Google</ScopeDisplayName> <ScopeKey>SearchProvider1</ScopeKey> <ScopeUrl>http://www.google.com.tr/search?q={searchTerms}</ScopeUrl> </Scope> </SearchScopes> Edited September 24, 2014 by compstuff
compstuff
Hmmm I just finished a test and but I didn't get that... in fact I still got the same thing I posted here: http://www.wincert.net/forum/topic/12637-google-default-search-tweak-doesnt-work/?p=111360 It does still say that something 'unknown' is trying to change your default search provider when you first load up IE. You just click 'Change'. It's one of the yellow bar things at the bottom so it isn't or popup or anything. dareckibmw
Nothing was/is corrupted.....it just not default search engine. I can set it manually and live with that....I don't use IE anyway Thanks Lego
compstuff
I know I am bringing up an old thread but I had decided to give this a shot again and found the following thread which explains the actual change in behavior and why we were all unsuccessful at using our original methods to manage this. Needless to say this is NOT a WTK bug  http://www.sevenforums.com/installation-setup/350005-ie-11-default-search-provider-resets-after-sysprep.html Edited January 9, 2015 by compstuff
