is it November 12th in your area, Jan Krohn?  because it is not (at least not yet in the USA)

MS could post the 1909 ISOs most likely during their normal patch Tuesday schedule (11/12 pacific standard time on their watch, not yours nor mine) 🙂

wait, there's something wrong. The downloaded files, although called "win10 1909" contain version 18362.418 (19h1), according to the file [1].xml inside install.wim.

this doesn't add up. it should be version 18363.xxx (19h2)

edit: after installing, the about dialog says "Windows version 1909 (OS Build 18363.418)"

don't pay attention to the xml files inside install.wim, jvidal.

many of the 1909 system files are actually build 18362.x versions.
also 1909 = 1903 SP1

read the following from this blog:

Versioning

You can verify that the Windows 10, version 1909 update was successful by running Winver, versioning APIs, WMI, and other common interfaces, and verifying that the operating system build number is 18363. Because of the common baseline, even after installing Windows 10, version 1909, individual system file versions will still appear as 18362.

yeah, after installing I noticed that I had the correct build (1909 build 18363.418). I also read somewhere that 1903 updates also apply to 1909, is that right?

Edit: It seems they do. I updated from 18363.418 to 18363.449 using KB4522355

What's new for Windows 10, version 1909 and Windows 10, version 1903 release notes

Windows 10, versions 1903 and 1909 share a common core operating system and an identical set of system files. As a result, the new features in Windows 10, version 1909 were included in the recent monthly quality update for Windows 10, version 1903 (released October 8, 2019), but are currently in a dormant state. These new features will remain dormant until they are turned on using an enablement package, which is a small, quick-to-install “master switch” that simply activates the Windows 10, version 1909 features.

To reflect this change, the release notes for Windows 10, version 1903 and Windows 10, version 1909 will share an update history page. Each release page will contain a list of addressed issues for both 1903 and 1909 versions. Note that the 1909 version will always contain the fixes for 1903; however, 1903 will not contain the fixes for 1909. This page will provide you with the build numbers for both 1909 and 1903 versions so that it will be easier for support to assist you if you encounter issues.
