Jan Krohn Posted May 12, 2020 Share Posted May 12, 2020 Last weekend, a very large upload to the downloads directory caused the server's backup process to break, and consequently took WinCert and all other sites on the server down for several hours. To avoid this kind of issue in the future, the following changes have been made to the download manager: Normal users no longer have upload permission by default. Upload permission is granted to known and reputable forum members on request. Only 3 revisions of uploads are kept. Maximum file size is 10 MB. If you need more, please get in touch and explain the reason. Uploaded files now require approval.
