I've tried Panda once and regret it, it was on 2005.

What could be different in 2007?

The machine was dying and can not breath at all

My PC is:

  • P4 ... 2.8
  • 1 MB Cash...Pass 800
  • MoatherBoard GigaByte 860 PE ... Pass 800
  • 512 MB Ram ... Pass400
  • HD 160 GB SATA
  • ATI Radeon9200
  • OS ... XPSP2

Ages ago i seem to recall my parents trying it on their machine.

I ended up taking it off and putting Nortons on which seemed to work just fine although all they used pc for was email and occasional silver surfing.

Sod it ill just keep 2007 on and see what happens :w00t:

Is this AV program what you would recommend to use in conjunction with gaming?

Ive just installed Nortons 2007 on my system. Is this too heavy for what I need?

IMHO, I'd go for NOD32 or Avast..

NOD32 is consuming much less resources than Norton and I would definitely go with NOD32.

Since I've recently reinstalled my system and I decided to give a shot to Microsoft Live One Care free trial.

So far I can say this:

-It doesn't use much system resources

-It has Antivirus, Antispyware, Performance Tune Up Tool, Backup and Restore Tool and Firewall..

-It has 90 day free trial

-It's from Microsoft, so you're sure that it'll work as it should ;)

So ST33L, try One Care if you like and tell me what do you think..
