Original Source: http://for-free-on-internet.com/2009/04/ex...ts-from-chipde/, thanks alot.Well, i know this is not the latest version, but still cool and useful IMHO (Btw some people even said Tuneup Utilities 2009 is "buggier and resource hogger" than TU 2008, which is better (?)), especially since it's really legal and genuine version/license of TU 2008, there's no warez serial or malicious patch/crack needed, and you'll still get any future update (to 2009 later, maybe? Hehe) bcoz your software will always be recognized as "genuine software" by them, not blocked etc. You can always register it using the unique-genuine serial + your own name and organization later.Windows Customization Features: (I'm sure most people here already know about these, just for notification, sorry hehe): Beside tweaking Windows, one of some useful features (utilities) in Tune Up Utilities i love is TuneUp Styler, I.e you can use third party themes (VS/MSStyles which are not digitally signed by MS) in both Xp and Vista by using it. Yes, since it only patches the theme in memory. You don't need uxtheme.dll patch/patched uxtheme.dll anymore, or no more system file hacked only to get the 3rd party VS and you will always be able to update your Windows without "repatching" it anytime. And there are many other useful GUI features such as Changing Xp/Vista bootscreen, logon screen, Explorer/shell Icon (Icon packager) etc (TuneUp Utilities already supports some Stardock file formats i.e Stardock Vista/Xp Logon Studio and so on)...Here are the easy steps:1. Download TuneUpUtilities2008.zip from Chip.de promotion page Here: http://www.chip.de/downloads/Vollversion-T...8_35931683.html -> (Click "Zum Download" , then "Download-Server Chip Online" there).2. After downloading, unzip it. Don't run the exe installer bcoz it's a German version (unless you're a German). The serial is in the text file (TUU08Key_ChipOsterSpecial.txt). Open it using Notepad.3. (Again, unless you're a German), download the Tuneup Utilities 2008 Trial English version Here4. Run the installer to install the software as usual. Then register it using your own name, organization, and the unique serial above.That's it. Again, get it for free legally or at least just FYI here hehe. Anyway good luck and cya...
