Description

What Is µTorrent?

Micro-Sized Yet Feature Filled

µTorrent is the world's most popular BitTorrent client. Most of the features present in other BitTorrent clients are present in µTorrent, including bandwidth prioritization, scheduling, RSS auto-downloading and Mainline DHT (compatible with BitComet). Additionally, µTorrent supports the Protocol Encryption joint specification (compatible with Azureus 2.4.0.0 and above, BitComet 0.63 and above) and peer exchange.

Resource-Friendly

µTorrent was written with efficiency in mind. Unlike many torrent clients, it does not hog valuable system resources - typically using less than 6MB of memory, allowing you to use the computer as if it weren't there at all. Additionally, the program itself is contained within a single executable less than 220 KB in size.

Skinnable and Localized

Various icon, toolbar graphic and status icon replacements are available, and creating your own is very simple. µTorrent also has support for localization, and with a language file present, will automatically switch to your system language. If your language isn't available, you can easily add your own, or edit other existing translations to improve them!

Actively Developed and Improved

The development team puts in a lot of time working on features and making things more user-friendly. Releases only come out when they're ready, with no schedule pressures, so the few bugs that appear are quickly addressed and fixed.

I think its better to Update it to next major release i.e. utorrent 2.0. Its releases in a few days instead of updating 1.8.4 in every few days. If u like u can simply update ur addon by replacing utorrent.exe with new build and re-compress it .

what should the file type be ? as there is no .cab or .7z or .exe at the end of the addons..

all i got when downloaded is

uTorrent 2.0.WA

&

uTorrent1.8.4.WA

ive never heard of a .WA file before

You can use the WA Installer to install them on a live system

or

use W7T to install (integrate) them into a Windows 7 ISO.

So many dead topics in this forums nowadays.... :( Feels like visiting a ghostly forum.... Back in 2013 this forum was so flourishing & active.... Well, nowadays people's (even mine) schedule is so tightly packed... Wish those good ol' days were back in this world... Oh god!

Yeah, social networks are more and more popular, although I would call myself and old fashion. I still like the forums more and I am also not using social networks :)
