OK, I am going to by a TB. :D Which Will be full as soon as I get it. LMAO

My question is,

What works better Internal or External?

What brand should I get? I know (Seagate and WD are highly recommended)

I am trying to stay under $90.00 since that is all I have. Which isn't to bad since TB's have lowered in price.

I will be ordering tomorrow.

THANKS

Personally i Suggest Do not use Both of Them But to go with Samsung Spinpoint F3 1 TB HDD with 32 MB Cache. Reason Seagate use 4 Platters in 1 TB HDD means 250 GB on Each platter. I having both HDD Seagate is not reliable if u uses it coninuiosly for more than 6 hours in a day. I have replace my 1 TB HDD 2 times in just 4 months. Where as Samsung have less platters in HDD thats why its 30% faster than other HDD.

Thanks. I am using this HDD for media storage only. The reviews look great for the HDD also.I just wish it was in stock at NewEgg

Please don't use the WD green...

They are very misleading with them. The drive speed is ACTUALLY 5200 not 7200 as advertised.

They don't even show a speed. WD site doesn't even show a speed for it. I don't really care to much for speed since it will be used for media. I am leaning toward the Seagate Barracuda 7200.12.

I dealt with many 1tb drives in the past, and personally i think WD are the best, their MAYBE slighly more pricey compare to similar sized other HDD brands, but you get what you pay for. All my HDD'S are WD 1tb with 2x 500GB now in one system.

My old drives were Samsung Spinpoint 500gb's, and their not bad either.

For some reason i dont like seagate HDD's anymore, even though i had them for just over a year, but then got rid of them via ebay.
