LUZR4LIFE
Pleze help me I want it in 4 filesWhat do you mean 4 files? Also on boot screens you can only use 16 color compliant BMPs. So that pic may not look as good.

LUZR4LIFE
If you mod 1 krnl you can make 3 more copies and rename them accordingly. I don't have time right now to make anything. I am still setting up my Virtual XP in my spare time. That bootXP is real easy to use.
Kirs
@ LeGendxp: Well... I tried... 16 colors isn't much to work with lol... So I ended up with this:You can use the LBS patcher to easily change it Here you can download the bitmaps (extract with 7zip).Otherwise you'll have to hexedit each of the 4 kernels with the colorpallet of the .bmp's yourself and add the .bmp's (background + progress bar) to all of the kernels in your XP CD Source. Two kernels in the I386 folder and four in the Driver.cab file. Hope you like,Kirs Edited February 9, 2010 by Kirs NIM

pri2sh
Using tune up utilities is best and safe way to change boot screen, WFP won't let windows file to be replaced easily and may get messed up. also try software named stardock bootskin .
