<p>This article will explain the fast way to remove the &#8216;Map Network Drive&#8217; button from Windows Explorer.</p>
<p>Open registry editor (regedit)</p>
<p>Navigate to:</p>
<p><strong>HKEY_CURRENT_USER | Software | Microsoft | Windows | CurrentVersion | Policies | Explorer</strong></p>
<p>or</p>
<p><strong>HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE | Software | Microsoft | Windows | CurrentVersion | Policies | Explorer</strong></p>
<p>Create the following DWORD (32-bit) key:</p>
<p><strong>NoNetConnectDisconnect</strong></p>
<p>Double click on the newly created key and set its value to <strong>1</strong>.</p>
<p>Close registry editor, restart Windows Explorer (task manager) or restart your machine to apply changes.</p>
