<p>When you try to remove a PC from the HomeGroup on Windows 7, you might receive error.</p>
<p>When you run the troubleshooter, you might receive the following problem:</p>
<p>Problems found: <strong>Peer Networking Grouping service isn&#8217;t running</strong></p>
<p>To solve this error, please do the following:</p>
<p>Delete the file:</p>
<p><strong>idstore.sst</strong></p>
<p>that is located in the following path:</p>
<p><strong>%SystemRoot%\serviceProfiles\LocalService\AppData\Roaming\PeerNetworking</strong></p>
<p>When you paste this line in the RUN windows you might receive the <strong>Access Denied error</strong>.</p>

<p>In that case just copy: <strong>%SystemRoot%\serviceProfiles\</strong> in the <strong>RUN </strong>prompt and try to open the Local Service folder again. You will receive the following message:</p>
<p>You don&#8217;t currently have permission to access this folder (UAC). Click Continue and then navigate to the <strong>PeerNetworking </strong>folder. (Have in mind that <strong>AppData </strong>is a hidden folder)</p>
<p>Open <strong>RUN </strong>prompt again and type the following <strong>services.msc</strong></p>
<p>Stop the <strong>HomeGroupProvider </strong>service and restart.</p>
