<p>Some users asked me how to remove the requirement for users to press Ctrl Alt Delete on the logon screen if this setting is greyed out.</p>
<p>When you try to clear the &#8216;<span style="color: #003366;">Require users to press Ctrl Alt Delete</span>&#8216; checkbox in the <span style="color: #003366;">Advanced tab</span> of <span style="color: #003366;"><b>User Accounts</b></span> window, you&#8217;re unable to because this setting is greyed out as seen in the picture below.</p>

<p><span style="color: #008000;">Solution:</span></p>
<p>Login as an Administrator or with a user that has Administrative rights.<br />
<span style="color: #003366;">Click Start | Settings | Control Panel | Administrative Tools | Local Security Policy<b><br />
</b></span>In the left pane browse to <span style="color: #003366;">Security Settings | Local Policies | Security Options<b><br />
</b></span>In the right pane change the value for, &#8220;<span style="color: #003366;">Interactive Logon: Do not require CTRL + ALT + DEL&#8221; from Disabled to Enabled<b><br />
</b></span>Restart the computer.</p>
