DHCP Superscope keeps reappearing issue

<p><a href&equals;"http&colon;&sol;&sol;wincert&period;net&sol;wp-content&sol;uploads&sol;2015&sol;01&sol;windows-server2&period;jpg"><img class&equals;"alignnone size-full wp-image-551" src&equals;"http&colon;&sol;&sol;wincert&period;net&sol;wp-content&sol;uploads&sol;2015&sol;01&sol;windows-server2&period;jpg" alt&equals;"Windows Server" width&equals;"720" height&equals;"340" &sol;><&sol;a><&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>We have one DHCP server with configured DHCP Superscope that contains 15 scopes&period;<br style&equals;"padding&colon; 0px&semi; margin&colon; 0px&semi;" &sol;>As we had some DHCP issues in our VLAN environment&comma; we had to remove all 15 scopes from the superscope&period; When the last scope was removed from the Superscope&comma; superscope was deleted automatically&period;<br style&equals;"padding&colon; 0px&semi; margin&colon; 0px&semi;" &sol;><br style&equals;"padding&colon; 0px&semi; margin&colon; 0px&semi;" &sol;>Now&comma; everything is working fine&comma; but after the DHCP server or service is restarted&comma; users complained that they still experience that &&num;8216&semi;old&&num;8217&semi; DHCP issues when physically changing VLAN&&num;8217&semi;s&period; More <a href&equals;"http&colon;&sol;&sol;wincert&period;net&sol;&quest;p&equals;167" target&equals;"&lowbar;blank">HERE<&sol;a>&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p><&excl;--more--><&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>Therfore&comma; I&&num;8217&semi;ve checked the DHCP and I was more than surprised when I&&num;8217&semi;ve seen that all DHCP scopes are back in the Superscope&period; As if nothing was done before the server restarted&period;<br style&equals;"padding&colon; 0px&semi; margin&colon; 0px&semi;" &sol;><br style&equals;"padding&colon; 0px&semi; margin&colon; 0px&semi;" &sol;>It looks like that DHCP was restored or like DHCP superscope was recreated&period; I am using DHCP server with Windows Server 2008 R2 OS&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p><span class&equals;"Apple-style-span" style&equals;"color&colon; &num;008000&semi;">Solution&colon;<&sol;span><&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>Delete the DHCP Superscope and you should get the notification that child scopes won&&num;8217&semi;t be deleted in this process&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>It is not necessary to recreate scopes&period; You can simply delete the superscope and all child scopes will remain active&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p><span style&equals;"color&colon; &num;993300&semi;"><span style&equals;"text-decoration&colon; underline&semi;">Note<&sol;span>&colon;<&sol;span> This applies to Windows Server 2008 R2&period; If you plan to try this with any previous Microsoft DHCP server&comma; please make a backup of your DHCP database&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;
