<p>Shazam, a music identification application that was available for Windows 10 and Windows Phone operating systems has been discontinued for those platforms on Feb. 7, 2017.</p>

<p>An application has been removed from Microsoft App Store and it is not available for download anymore. Any previously downloaded app will continue to function but without any updates in the future. This means it will continue to function normally until it becomes incompatible with the newer version of Windows operating system.</p>
<p>Before the app has been removed from the Windows Store there was a notification in the help area of the app. If you&#8217;ve missed to read it, here&#8217;s the message:</p>
<blockquote><p>Effective Feb. 7, 2017, we are sunsetting Shazam for Windows. However, anyone who previously downloaded and installed Shazam for Windows on their phone can continue to use the app and access all features.</p>
<p><strong>What happened to Shazam for Windows?</strong></p>
<p>It has been discontinued, and as of Feb. 7, 2017, will no longer be supported—nor will it appear in the Microsoft App Store as an available download.</p>
<p><strong>Can I still use it for Windows on my phone if I previously downloaded it?</strong></p>
<p>Yes! It will continue to work until or unless it becomes incompatible with a different version of Microsoft’s operating system.</p>
<p><strong>Will there be any further updates for Windows?</strong></p>
<p>No. The current version for Windows is the final version.</p></blockquote>
