Windows 10 Tuesday update will remove legacy Edge browser

<p>Microsoft has just announced that its old Edge browser is planned to be removed from Windows 10 on April 13 with the Tuesday update&period; Legacy Microsoft Edge browser will be replaced with the new Chromium-based Microsoft Edge&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p><img class&equals;"alignnone wp-image-3490 size-full" title&equals;"legacy Edge browser" src&equals;"https&colon;&sol;&sol;www&period;wincert&period;net&sol;wp-content&sol;uploads&sol;2020&sol;01&sol;edge-browser&period;jpg" alt&equals;"legacy Edge browser" width&equals;"1813" height&equals;"725" &sol;><&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>Official support for the old Edge browser will end on March 9 2021 and after that date&comma; it will no longer receive security updates&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>Here is the list of Windows 10 versions impacted by this update&colon;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>Windows 10&comma; version 1803&comma; all editions &lpar;April 2018 update&rpar;<br &sol;>&NewLine;Windows 10&comma; version 1809&comma; all editions &lpar;October 2018 update&rpar;<br &sol;>&NewLine;Windows 10&comma; version 1903&comma; all editions &lpar;May 2019 update&rpar;<br &sol;>&NewLine;Windows 10&comma; version 1909&comma; all editions &lpar;October 2019 update&rpar;<br &sol;>&NewLine;Windows 10&comma; version 2004&comma; all editions &lpar;May 2020 update&rpar;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>Since Windows 10 version 20H2 comes with a pre-installed Chromium-Edge browser this update will only remove the legacy Edge browser&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;
