Windows 11 Is Getting a New Update

<p>Microsoft is getting ready to launch the next big Windows 11 update&comma; called version 25H2&period; It’s going to be a lot easier and faster to install than the last one&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p><img class&equals;"alignnone size-full wp-image-4294" src&equals;"https&colon;&sol;&sol;www&period;wincert&period;net&sol;wp-content&sol;uploads&sol;2021&sol;07&sol;windows-11-6379123&lowbar;640&period;png" alt&equals;"" width&equals;"640" height&equals;"524" &sol;><&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>Earlier this year&comma; the 24H2 update took many users by surprise with how long it took to install&comma; especially on older computers&period; It was a full system upgrade that replaced almost all of the code&comma; and in some cases&comma; took nearly two hours to complete&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>But with 25H2&comma; things are changing&period; This time&comma; Microsoft is using a smarter update method&period; Instead of replacing everything&comma; it will only download the small pieces your system needs&period; That means less waiting and smaller downloads&comma; up to 40&percnt; smaller&comma; according to Microsoft&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>Even better&comma; most of the updates will happen quietly in the background&period; Once everything’s ready&comma; your PC will just need a quick restart to finish the job&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>You can check your version anytime by going to Settings &vert; System &vert; About&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>Microsoft hasn’t given an exact release date for 25H2 yet&comma; but based on past updates&comma; it will likely arrive in September or October&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>As for what’s new&comma; Microsoft is keeping most of the features under wraps&period; But early test versions show some interesting additions&comma; like a new dashboard for the upcoming Recall feature&comma; and better integration with 1Password using passkeys&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;
