Citrix clients suddenly won’t map printers

<p><a href&equals;"http&colon;&sol;&sol;wincert&period;net&sol;wp-content&sol;uploads&sol;2015&sol;01&sol;citrix2&period;jpg"><img class&equals;"alignnone size-full wp-image-555" src&equals;"http&colon;&sol;&sol;wincert&period;net&sol;wp-content&sol;uploads&sol;2015&sol;01&sol;citrix2&period;jpg" alt&equals;"Citrix Box" width&equals;"720" height&equals;"340" &sol;><&sol;a><&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>Today we had printer issues with some of our Citrix servers in the XenApp v5&period;0 farm&period; Printers were not automatically mapped in Citrix session&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>We have discovered that <b>Print Spooler<&sol;b> was stopped on those Citrix servers&period; Once we started the &&num;8216&semi;<b>print spooler<&sol;b>&&num;8216&semi; service the problem wasn&&num;8217&semi;t solved&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p><img src&equals;"http&colon;&sol;&sol;wincert&period;net&sol;wp-content&sol;uploads&sol;2011&sol;12&sol;print spooler3&period;png" alt&equals;"" &sol;><&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>We have checked the System Log on one of the problematic Citrix server and we discovered that the <b>Citrix Print Manager Service<&sol;b> was stopped also because this service depends on the <b>Print Spooler<&sol;b> service&period; <&excl;--more--><&sol;p>&NewLine;<p><img src&equals;"http&colon;&sol;&sol;wincert&period;net&sol;wp-content&sol;uploads&sol;2011&sol;12&sol;print spooler2&period;png" alt&equals;"" &sol;><&sol;p>&NewLine;<p><img src&equals;"http&colon;&sol;&sol;wincert&period;net&sol;wp-content&sol;uploads&sol;2011&sol;12&sol;print spooler&period;png" alt&equals;"" &sol;><&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>Once we started the Citrix Print Manager Service&comma; printers were successfully mapped once the user logs off and then logs back on to the Citrix&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;
