Bump* convert XPpro to XPtablet

"Note: After executing command, it will open new dialog window and ask you to navigate/browse to where you placed TabletPC.cab. Follow and do it."

the dialog window doesn't ask for the tabletPC.cab file but starts off asking for tbgwlnot.dll witch is in the tabletPC.cab file.

i ran the Tablet PC.reg

then Tabletpc.cmd

the CMD only runs - "C:\WINDOWS\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v1.0.3705\" (1 file copied) (first half of - C:\WINDOWS\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v1.0.3705\Copy2Gac.exe /i /a /p:"C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\Ink\1.7\"

witch i noticed was not mentioned in the read me file as posted on this forum.) and also "start / wait rundll32 setupapi.dll,InstallHinfSection TPG 128 tabletpc.inf" along with the dialog box asking for the first dill file, tbgwlnot.dll

if i cancel, it will run the next command - "rundll32 setupapi.dll,InstallHinfSection System 128 tabletpc.inf

then "rundll32 setupapi.dll,InstallHinfSection OOBE 128 tabletpc.inf" and so on; dialog box not finding the files located in the cab file

idk im way tired and im gong to bed. bet im just a idiot and when i get a reply ill be like 'duh :shifty:

ok get this. the last line in the command was not missing but i must have cut it on accident cos when i went to close the read me file it asked if i wanted to save changes

ok so this time i didnt run the tabletpc.cmd file but i pasted the commands into the cmd and then this time of course one dialog box didnt come up one at a time but 6 asking for files located in the tabletpc.cab which file cannot be detect as a visible option except for the LAST dialog asking for the tabletpc.cab file. sheesh

tpgwlnot.dll

tabsys.cab

nbtute.hta

inkseg.dll

stikynot.exe

and finely tabletpc.cab

so i select ok for the last dialog box asking for the tabletpc.cab file and it processes but still i need the other files i see are inside the tablet .cab. so am i extracting them out and placing them in some folder so that they can be searched for threw the dialog boxes or what?

i fear that if i extract the 5 other files form tabletpc.cab then i will get an endless pit of dialog boxes asking for more files that are all in the tabletpc.cab file. so am i just extracting its contents into a tabletpc folder so all needed files can be found?
