  1. The "downlevel" are for XP and Vista, the "win7sp1" is self explanitory
  2. Simple... Use old installer source and add the new files to it after you grab them from the install dir
  3. 4 is month but this sfx does not have the date in the properties, that date is last date modified (cannot edit this, this is explorer's doing)
  4. If you run with /? you will get the switches, if you want 100% silent use <installer>.exe /ai /gm2
  5. Well you cannot really slipstream it but what you can do is install it during syprep/audit mode and capture the image into a new install.wim... Basically you: - Install Windows to a separate partition on a computer or in a virtual machine to a vhd (virtualbox will do this) - After setup completes and you get to the oobe part where you enter a user name dont, press ctrl+shift+f3 (this will reboot your compter and log you into audit mode, ignore the sysprep window) - Now you can install your apps: updates, office, .net 4.5.x, silverlight, vc runtimes, etc.. (reboot as many times as needed) - Once finished, in the sysprep windows tick Generalize, leave Enter System OOBE option and select Shutdown - After sysprep finishes and shuts down go to your main windows, capture that install partition you just did into a new install.wim and replace the one on your dvd with this Note: if you install in a virtual machine onto a vhd, you mount this with disk management (diskmgmt.msc) Action - Attach VHD... Now the VHD will look like another drive/partition in explorer and you can capture this
  6. Yes that's it, after you install the vmware tools a network driver is also installed. Windows will treat this like a new adapter and the previous unattended settings will not apply (I suspect)
  7. Do you integrate your lan driver or do you install a driver after setup?
  8. Si, ya esta dentro de 1.9.8
  9. Si quieres actualizar a ie8 necesitas aplicar el reg... Las actualizaciones de XP Embedded son compatibles para XP, los dos son iguales
  10. 180upload is a new host I am trying out, its fine
  11. Already on it, after I get some sleep I will update Edit: Updated
  12. You can use this vbs to hide it, hide it manually or install a slim lp
  13. You can upload to a image hosting site and use this bbcode [img=url_here]
  14. What about it you want removed? I do not use the program Unzip the files, remove what you want (add files if needed,) then you open the installer in Resource Hacker, expand FILE, right click 501 and choose Replace Resource... Click Open file with new resource... (browse for the new .7z with your changes) Add the same info you see bellow (FILE | 501 | 1046) into the dialog boxes and click Replace Save and done
  15. That should be an easy one, if you know what you want/can be removed, go ahead and use 7zip to extract the files from the installer, delete/add what you want, re-zip files with 7-zip, open the installer with Restorator or another capable resource editor and replace FILE -> 501 with your modded 7-zip
  16. Storage driver is missing, it cannot see your hard drive What setup do you use to create your vm?
