[autounattended xml file]

is there an xml code to add your network name, workgroup, and home setting and icon....?

i added this but all it seemed to do was bring up the network screen once it had booted

i created an unattended xml file with wintoolkit and setup a user as admin and 2 autologins

yet when runonce tries to start it gets error access denied and i have found out i need to run the cmd file "run as administrator" for it to work as UAC causes the errors.

and then UAC brings up a warning on every single install i try to do with run once...?

how do i overcome this?

it says my account is an administrator account in the unattended file and in windows but i still dont have permissions to do anything?

i have a reg file to turn UAC off but thats in the runonce file i dont want UAC so if theres a way i can remove it so it doesnt cause my problem id be happy

here i was thinking it was something to do with my runonce file or setupcomplete.cmd but its UAC

ok so i re downloaded the mcrip ones and it put everything i had into old and downloaded about 300 new ones

does that mean i dont need the old ones and only use the ones it has downloaded..?

i am/ was using the 1.4.0.28 version but have upgraded to the .29 verson tonight but havent used it to do a run yet

is the image still fine...?

i cant believe that if the windows disc starts at 3.1gb and i add 957mb of update/ winxp mode that its 4.15gb in size yet surely it should be less as some of the files should be overwritten making it smaller not bigger than what it would add up to...??

i plan to intergrate all the updates and make a copy of that and use that as my base file to edit as intergrating takes me a few hrs

do i need to rebuild the wim image to comress it so it is a smaller size or has this already been done after it was intergrated?

ok so this is the second time i have tried intergrating the update files (downloaded through this program) and all seems to work fine

i know i get one red bar but i do know that with sp1 one of the xp mode files isnt needed im guessing its the virtual pc part that has the error... but if it works i dont really care

anyway thats not the problem once it has run for about 2 hrs or so and intergrated the files i check it out and it says install pending to all but one file... ????

and its happened on both runs...

i have started with fresh win7 sp1 iso from the microsoft site
