    XBMC (formally Xbox Media Center) is a free and open source (GPL) software media player and entertainment hub for digital media. XBMC is available for Linux, OSX, Windows, and the original Xbox.

    XBMC can be used to play almost all popular audio/video/images formats around :

    • Audio : MP3, Aac, web radio
    • Video : Dvd, vcd, svcd, mpeg (1, 2 & 4), Xvid & Matroska, video streaming

    I've completely tested this addon and i've found that cue, img, iso aren't associated.... why?

    In 1rst post, you can read this about Nerofiles associations

    Files associations :

    Nero Burning ROM/Nero Express : .nab, .nhf, .nhv, .nmd, .nr3, .nr4, .nra, .nrb, .nrc, .nrd, .nre, .nrg, .nrh, .nri, .nrj, .nrm, .nrs, .nru, .nrv, .nrw, .nsd

    Nero CoverDesigner : cdc, .ncd, nct, ncw

    Nero Wave Editor : .nwf

    It's my choice (I prefer UltraIso for cue, img, iso files). But in Nero10LE.inf, All regentries about that types of files have just commented. If needed, incomment them & it's done.

    For my needs now is perfect... thanks to you naturally :worthy:

    Then you can keep yours mods.

    I've commented the following lines:

    Nero StartSmart 10 Free added.

    While waiting to make corrected addon availlable, please download the archive Nero10Lite_Files_29082010.7z. It contains the INF files (Nero10LE.inf/Nero10L.inf) addons without prerequisites and resources file (Xtr3mres.dll - v1.0.0.15) updated.

    Delete/overwrite old ones and replace them with those included in the archive Nero10Lite_Files_29082010.7z.

    NB :

    - Soft used : 7-Zip v9.13 Beta

    - Compression method : LZMA2

    fixes the problem.

    DONE !

    Another minor bug (on win 7 x86) is blank icon of coverdesign.

    All my tests are done on WinXP SP2/SP3. And all links (Desktop & Start menu group) are correctly created (with their icon).

    Attachment contains modified Nero10LE.inf/Ner010L.inf files.

    Hi Ken@fri, good work... but:

    i've tried to install on Se7en but Nero 10 doesn't appear on uninstall programs; i had to remove 2 lines in Nero10LE.inf to fix it:

    No Parentkeyname and no SystemComponent.

    Is it right?

    Another problem: try to open a nrg file but returns an error msgbox; in many lines in Nero10LE.inf i see:

    Nero 10 Lite addon installs as A WINDOWS COMPONENT. Then, by default, it will not appear in Change/Remove Programs.

    But as M$ have to change things with Vista/Se7en, this addon will be installed but will not appear in Add/Remove Windows Components too.

    To view Nero Lite 10 addon in Change/Remove Programs, proceed as follows:

    1) edit %Windir%\inf\Sysoc.inf (hide file) & replace line bellow:

    [components]

    NeroMultimediaSuite10Lie=ocgen.dll,OcEntry,Nero10LE.inf,,7

    with

    [components]

    NeroMultimediaSuite10Lie=ocgen.dll,OcEntry,Nero10LE.inf,HIDE,7

    2) In section [Nero.Uninstall.Reg],

    - comment SystemComponent property:

    ; HKLM,"%Unins%\%NERO%","SystemComponent",0x10001,1

    - or modify it:

    HKLM,"%Unins%\%NERO%","SystemComponent",0x10001,0

    All lines like this

    don't break nero associations files. But, you can comment/remove them (i tried with/without it...no differences & Nero 10 Lite addon works like a charm).

    Please, check your system. Maybe, .nrg files are set with another app...Or try to reinstall addon manually.

    PS : can u send me a snapshot of .NRG files error msgbox?
