How do i make my desktop icons stay large?

Every Startup my icons are large but then they turn normal size. Everytime when my sidebar appears. Is there any patch or anything to fix this problem?

    Are you sure its the sidebar... I have the same problem but its ViStart causing it.

    BTW what do you use to make the icons bigger, nLite or a 3rd party app?

    No, i make the desktop icons bigger by right clicking the desktop and click on "Properties" then go to the "Appearance" tab and click on effects and click on "use large icons" then apply
