1 hour ago1 hr Author Thunderbird 151 fixes an issue were forwarded malformed MIME email had empty body and an extra attachment, an issue causing some IMAP emails to show the current time instead of the correct received date, and an issue causing the OWL add-on description to be invisible in the Account Hub for non-en-US locales. Also fixed is an issue with Account Hub links for encryption and signature opening the wrong account, a bug causing virtual folders to not update correctly for filtered POP3 messages, a bug preventing users from creating date-only all-day tasks, and an issue causing menu items in the task context menu (right-click) to be disabled.Thunderbird 151 also addresses an issue causing the last email address to become invalid when using thunderbird -compose with double quotes, a bug causing the Current Tasks view to show past and finished tasks instead of only unfinished ones, as well as an issue where a large email was marked as read during load delay when auto-mark-read was disabled.Last but not least, this release fixes several crashes that occurred when processing message headers, when processing new incoming messages, when accessing spam filtering, and during startup. Of course, there are also various visual and UX improvements, as well as security fixes, so check out the release notes for more details.Meanwhile, you can download Mozilla Thunderbird 151 right now from the official website as binaries for Linux, macOS, and Windows systems. If you have Thunderbird installed from the software repositories of your GNU/Linux distribution, wait for the new release to arrive there to update your installation.
