I have loaded some Win7 files into ResHacker and have noticed that the Dialog, Menu and String Table items does not show up.

Where are these?

Which files you are talking about, specify the file name please, Eg:- if you are looking for icons of My computer, then it's located in shell32.dll, For Documents, Network connection and RecycleBin they are located in imageres.dll, For Add/Remove Programs it's located in appwiz.cpl. etc.

Open these files in PE Explorer or Restorator or Microangelo and extract the Icons, Avi's, Bmp's.

Reshacker is good but with limited features as compared to others.

HI.

In XP you have Dialog, Menu and String Table in the dll files like (Explorer.exe). But there are no Dialog, Menu or String Table in the dll file of Windows 7.

So where are they in Windows 7?
