    [Repack] VirtualBox 5.1.18 + ExtensionPacks

    VirtualBox is a pain the the butt to mod, typical Property stuff that works in other installes does not work in this

     

    BTW it may be possible to repack back into the original setup wrapper, I notice RCData\BIN_XX are the 2 installers and common.cab (I use restorator to open)

    Can use VirtualBoxInstaller.exe -extract to get msi + common.cab files in %temp%\VirtualBox folder...

    Driver Integration Makes Installation Fail

    I have the same problem when I integrate my chipset drivers, I cannot use my mouse & kb during oobe...I have to integrate the older usb chipset drivers and after setup I install the latest

    I have ICH10 chipset (ichausb.inf)

    02/25/2008, 9.0.0.1005 ***WORKING FINE***

    07/31/2013, 9.1.9.1006 ***USB BROKEN ON 1ST BOOT***

    Curious, what is the hadware id of your usb chipset in the i5? (so I can tell you what INF it is)

    I have problems too... BOSD when load drivers during installation...

    After much search in internet I found a way to Pin Program to TaskBar in Win 7 with Inno Setup or other installers... There is a program called TaskBar Pinner here http://winaero.com/comment.php?comment.news.108 can be used with this command as example:

     

    taskbarpinner.exe "c:\windows\explorer.exe"
