Restorator shows that shdocvw.dll.res (XPtsp.v1.0.10b17_batch.exe) has corrupted cursor 103.
In the last amnesia's update that cursor is OK.

I am having huge problems with my VMWare. It's blue screening every time i try to install Windows. I will have another go tonight.

have you tried M$ Virtual PC ? i like it, cause it's free and i don't need to install it (well, only once).
just copy VMM.sys to %windir%\system32\drivers and it works.

"VISO Live" was meant to be run on a live system (for example, after Windows Update).
To run "Live": (extract "V'ISO" or "XPtsp", add batches from "VISO.Live.*.rar", start "1Copy.bat").
After patching, system will restart ...
VISO.Live.2.2.rar
- added lines 33-35 to 1Copy.bat
- added :ieframe.mui to 2Patch.bat
- partially rewrote 3Move.bat
- fixed various syntax errors
edit:
- (silent update) fixed moving of srchui.dll
edit 2:
- (silent update) added ieframe.dll.mui to 3Move.bat

First of all, I would like to thank you guys for putting in so much time and effort.
All your hard work and feedback is greatly appreciated. :thumbsup_anim:
it could be nice and appreciated, to update piks on the first page, reflecting recent updates (Runbox, Taskbar and Startmenu, Speech, Display Properties, Time and Date)

I've been having a problem with the live patch. I tried V'ISO live versions 1.8 through 2.0, All fail during the 'Move' phase. All the files being moved fail with "Access denied" or "File not found". If I halt the 'Move' phase, I can see all the files were copied to the 'Patch' directory and successfully patched. They just can't get moved by the 3move.bat file. I can manually move some of the files to their directories (too many to do manually).
One file that bugs me is the ntoskrnl.exe. The boot screen is modded, but after hitting WU/MU and downloading hotfixes, the boot screen reverts to the plain XP screen.
V'ISO Live fails to repatch it.

- as of "Access denied", you've got to help me out ... ntfs permissions ? admin rights ?

- shdocvw.dll.res (added: bitmaps 336 and 337, cursor 103, changed icons and icon's formats to closer match originals)

well there is a newer run box there which i would be loving if you guys include it in XPtsp, also the date and time they have is better than the one included in this pack (infact the current version is also mentioned in that topic somewhere below, but http://tools.oszone.net/Jekson07/ResPatch/...pal/intl.cpl.7z is better)
and last thing their task manager is KILLER, hehe plz include that too
run box as mentioned by MadMaxX...
- as of "time and date" there is a russian text on the new bitmaps (i'll ask Jekson07 to remove it, cause i don't know how to remove layers in photoshop)...
- task manager looks nice, but they said, there is a problem with resizing a dialog after patching...

In remotepg.dll.res Dialogs have large empty space on the left side.
Is it prepared for a bitmap?
2 Rud
there are Bitmap 6 and Dialog 8000 in xpsp2res.dll.res for Remote Assistance...
do you have Remote Assistance installed to confirm it's appearance ?
anyhow, i've attached remotepg.dll.res with Icon 500 added.
edit:
tested for "Remote Assistance" tab on VM... looks good...
except icon 500 should stay removed from remotepg.dll to appear right, sorry, i forgot

powercfg.cpl.res with erroneous hotkeys in Dialogs 100, 101 removed (as mentioned by Rud, Post #566)

- added registry patching to disable SFC (not enough)
- added sapi.dll
- removed erroneous wucltui.dll.mui
- fixed copying of oobebaln.exe
- fixed copying of pinball.exe
edit: (silent update)

it seems like your problem is SFC and WFP related ? i've tested on VM with standard install and
copying and patching went fine, but after restart it got back to originals... after i've deleted files
in system32\DllCache, WFP started to ask for a disk and i just ignored it, so the third part went through...
