I have been eyeing up that 7048 x64 build not sure if I want to download and try it on my desk or not. Maybe I'll just wait for the 86 build for my lappy

oh
7 won't save my credentials for my SERVER after logoff or reboot :sad01_anim:
I am testing 7 image backup to my SERVER atm.

open up five or six windows on the desktop, grab one by the title bar and shake left and right vigorously...
I don't get it?
Is that same thing what I was talking about above....??

Yeah I worked around that 200mb partition, I have enough dam partition lol
I think I found what may be a bug or one I created by doing some tweaks. A cool new feature if you drag a window off the screen is will maximize or if you drag the taskbar in it will then minimize. This feature was working, but now when I do it Windows Explorer quits working and has to restart.
Other than that all is good. I sent the one report to Microsoft

Yeah that release candidate should be primed and ready to go AWESOME!
I am on build 7022 right now and I am liking it so far. Just getting everything set up nice.

Yeah I had some weird bugs in 7 which were quite annoying!
OH! I forgot, everybody on the network can read my %UserProfile% files like Documents, Downloads, AppData, EVERYTHING! so if you are on a network watch out...they will be able to see EVERYTHING!Waaaa are you serious, how does that even happen

I am really excited to see the final release of Windows 7. Just installed the latest beta I could find, previously had build 7000 and now onto 7022, all is hunky dory right now and I will be testing it more tonight.
Who else is running 7022 and what are your thoughts.
PS. Currently installed my my week netbook with atom and the performance is quite good. I will be curious to see how it performs once I get some more programs installed. As of now I have just basic stuff, utilities, FF, the works...

I do appreciate WinRARS drag and drop feature. So I totally droped Windows and moved over to Ubuntu, coupld months later coming back and I am curious to see what changes have been made to this most wonderful project. One just cannot live without V'ISO/XPtsp

Ah figured as much..
Thanks

Looks like 7 beta is going and back to XP for me, been a couple months and I have not been following this awesome project. I love V'ISO now XPtsp
I am just wondering why the GUI version is a lot smaller than the Batch version ??

I have a weird problem installing X-Fi Drivers. I have already installed Windows 7 Build 7000 once and I had no trouble installing X-Fi drivers, this time they will not install, I can choose compatibility mode and try to run as admin, but nothing works :thumbsdown_anim:
Weird, guess I will look into it at somepoint, unless someone has something to add!

Couple login screen addons in the addon section

Thanks everyone!
Had a great day in my chilly town

Very Weird, I made no changes at all to my system... maybe as new hardware comes out it updates itself LOL ... you need better hardware, spend more money!

I had Vista installed and had 5.9, another time had a fresh install reported 5.8

Thought I should show off my mod here :thumbsup_anim:
Alright everyone I have finished installing a touchscreen into my MSI Wind! I have provided some pictures that may help. This is my first touchscreen mod and the first time I have done some advanced soldering ( if you call that advanced ). I am having a little bit of trouble getting the screen centered perfect, though it is not bad and I will leave it as is.
Here I am showing where I connected the ground connection from the Touchscreen controller.
I am not actually that impressed with the soldering job on the touch controller, at one point I was having some issues so I was re-doing them and it did not turn out as pretty:glare:
Here you can see some damage from soldering wires to the wifi card, as you can see I decided to solder directly to the mini PCI-E slot! Also you can see the red wire which is 5v powering the touchscreen controller ( off when standby )
Weee touchscreen and OS X...
I have quoted this from the MSI Wind forums, also like to thank ziguan because this would not have been possible without the touchscreen he supplied me and basic pictures for installing, combine that with some soldering skills and time!
Here is my original attempt at soldering D+ and D- to the wifi card, as seen in the above pics small damage did occur and connection was not good because touchscreen was not detected.
Don't use double sided tape as it will melt onto your ram LOL, I did not have any thermal tape around which probably would be much more appropriate for this job!
I have a few more pictures , but ziguan and himmelblau already posted plenty, I just posted the ones that may help people decide which the best method would be ie the wifi card or MB!!

Does anyone got any sdram pc133???
I would dearly like a couple of 512's. (I already got a couple of 256's but would REALLY like to expand with the room given.)
And, YES the mobo can handle it.
I bought a pair of 512's on ebay for 15 dollars

I have two SODIMM modules, 512mb each 667mhz if anyone wants!
