  1. After removing packages the the AIO integrator, I get a black after the first reboot. No Windows setup screen, nothing. What do I do?
  2. After using test 37, Setup completes successfully, but after the last reboot, when it should display OOBE, I get a black screen instead. My preset is as follows: *AIO #Addons D:\winkit\Addons\Reapers.7.Zip.9.30.x64.Windows7.or.8.AddOn.WA #Components Active Directory Application Mode AppFrabic Australia Local Pack BitLocker Drive Encryption Branch Cache Canada Local Pack Clips In The Library Common Modem Drivers DVD Maker Great Britain Local Pack HomeGroup Hyper-V VMBUS Driver IIS Addons 1 IIS Addons 2 Inbox Games Indexing Service Internet Explorer Troubleshooters Internet Games Internet Information Services Local Printing Media Features Microsoft Agent Microsoft Message Queue (MSMQ) Server Microsoft XPS Document Writer Microsoft-Hyper-V-Guest Mobile PC Client Components (Basic) Mobile PC Client Components (Premium) Mobile PC Client SideShow Components Mobile PC Sensors ALS Driver Music and Video Examples (Ringtones) Network Diagnostics Network File System (NFS) protocol New Zealand Local Pack OEM Help Customization Offline Files Parental Controls Peer networking Infrastructure Premium Inbox Games Print and Document Services Printer Drivers Printing Premium Tools Collection RAS Connection Manager Administration Kit (CMAK) Remote Assistance Remote Desktop Services Command Line Tools Remote Desktop Services Publishing WMI Provider Remote Desktop Services WMI Provider Remote Differential Compression RemoteFX Remote Client Components RemoteFX Remote Server VM Components RIP Listener Scan Management Share Media Control Panel Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP) SimpleTCP Services Snipping Tools Sound Themes Sticky Notes Subsystem for UNIX-based Applications System Restore Tablet PC Components Telnet Client Telnet Server Terminal Services Remote Applications Client TFTP Client TV Tuner Drivers Virtual XP Licensing Policies VirtualPC (USB) VirtualPC Licensing Policies Windows Anytime Upgrade Windows Anytime Upgrade Results Windows Backup Windows Block Level Backup Windows Gadget Platform Windows Identity Foundation Runtime Windows Killbits Windows Media Center Windows Media Player Windows Media Player DVD Registration Windows Media Player Network Sharing Service Windows Media Player Troubleshooters Windows Recovery Disc Windows Restore Utility Windows Sidebar Killbits Windows TIFF IFilter WMI SNMP Provider XPS Viewer #Tweaks Add 'Copy To Folder' to context-menu Add 'Move To Folder' to context-menu Add 'Open CMD here' to Folder Context-menu Add 'Open Elevated CMD here' to Folder context-menu Remove 'Add to WMP list' from Audio context-menu Add 'Register' and 'Unregister' to *.dll, *.ocx and *.ax Context Menu Control Panel View::Large Icons Disable 8.3 Name Creation Disable Language Bar Disable Search Online on Unknown File Extensions Disable Thumbnail Cache Remove Shortcut Suffix Show All Icons on System Tray Show Notepad Statusbar Detailed Shutdown & Logon Enable MSI Service in Safe Mode Always Unload DLL Create Minidumps Disable Dr Watson Disable Hibernation Disable NTFS Encryption Disable Pagefile Enable MAC File Sharing Turn off system beeps #vLite Speech and Natural Language Aero Ease of Access Themes Extra Themes #Updates D:\winkit\Updates\McRip Windows 8 x64\1-KB2756872-x64.msu #Options Compatibility Check Create Backups Enable CMD Integrate 'HDC' Drivers (boot.wim) Integrate 'SCSIADAPTER' Drivers (boot.wim) Integrate 'SYSTEM' Drivers (boot.wim) Prepare Drivers Prompt Addons Prompt Drivers Prompt Gadgets Prompt Silent Prompt Themes Prompt Updates Prompt Wallpapers Rebuild Image Show Duplicates Also, in my autounattend.xml file, I have: <RunSynchronousCommand wcm:action="add"> <Order>1</Order> <Path>reg add "HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon" /v EnableFirstLogonAnimation /d 0 /t REG_DWORD /f</Path> <Description>Disable stupid touch tutorial</Description> </RunSynchronousCommand> But it doesn't work. I still get the stupid tutorial during account creation. I look in the registry after it finishes, and it's still set to 1. However, the command to set MediaBootInstall to 0 works sucessfully. What can I do?
  3. I'm getting the following message: This only happens when I put an unattend.xml file in the root of the DVD. It's not dislaying the product key screen, so I know it's reading the file. Attached is my unattend.xml and directory listing of the DVD. Any help? If I remove the unattend.xml file everything goes fine. cdtree.txt unattend.xml
  4. After integrating KB2756872, the 'Integrated' tab does show said update as integrated. I also tried to ntegrate (after KB2756872) KB2768703, but it always fails integrating said update. Also, whenever I integrate updates, setup always complains that it can't find the driver for the hard disk controller. I'm using VMware, so that would be the LSI SAS 3000 controller that it emulates. I didn't remove any drivers. Using lates 1.5.0.1 beta 22. I tried copying the lsi_sas.sys and lsi_sas.inf files from the drivers and inf directories to a floppy and trying, to no avail. My unattended.xml file is as follows: <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?> <unattend xmlns="urn:schemas-microsoft-com:unattend"> <settings pass="specialize"> <component name="Microsoft-Windows-Deployment" processorArchitecture="amd64" publicKeyToken="31bf3856ad364e35" language="neutral" versionScope="nonSxS" xmlns:wcm="http://schemas.microsoft.com/WMIConfig/2002/State" xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance"> <RunSynchronous> <RunSynchronousCommand wcm:action="add"> <Order>1</Order> <Path>reg add "HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon" /v EnableFirstLogonAnimation /d 0 /t REG_DWORD /f</Path> </RunSynchronousCommand> <RunSynchronousCommand wcm:action="add"> <Order>2</Order> <Path>reg add "HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Setup\OOBE" /v MediaBootInstall /d 0 /t REG_DWORD /f</Path> </RunSynchronousCommand> <RunSynchronousCommand wcm:action="add"> <Order>3</Order> <Path>cscript //B "%windir%\system32\slmgr.vbs" /rearm</Path> <WillReboot>Always</WillReboot> </RunSynchronousCommand> </RunSynchronous> </component> <component name="Security-Malware-Windows-Defender" processorArchitecture="amd64" publicKeyToken="31bf3856ad364e35" language="neutral" versionScope="nonSxS" xmlns:wcm="http://schemas.microsoft.com/WMIConfig/2002/State" xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance"> <DisableAntiSpyware>true</DisableAntiSpyware> </component> <component name="Microsoft-Windows-IE-InternetExplorer" processorArchitecture="wow64" publicKeyToken="31bf3856ad364e35" language="neutral" versionScope="nonSxS" xmlns:wcm="http://schemas.microsoft.com/WMIConfig/2002/State" xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance"> <DisableFirstRunWizard>true</DisableFirstRunWizard> <DisableOOBAccelerators>true</DisableOOBAccelerators> <DisableWelcomePage>true</DisableWelcomePage> <EnableLinksBar>false</EnableLinksBar> <Home_Page>http://www.google.com</Home_Page> <ShowMenuBar>true</ShowMenuBar> </component> </settings> <settings pass="windowsPE"> <component name="Microsoft-Windows-Setup" processorArchitecture="amd64" publicKeyToken="31bf3856ad364e35" language="neutral" versionScope="nonSxS" xmlns:wcm="http://schemas.microsoft.com/WMIConfig/2002/State" xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance"> <UserData> <ProductKey> <WillShowUI>onerror</WillShowUI> <Key>XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX</Key> </ProductKey> </UserData> </component> </settings> <settings pass="oobeSystem"> <component name="Microsoft-Windows-Shell-Setup" processorArchitecture="amd64" publicKeyToken="31bf3856ad364e35" language="neutral" versionScope="nonSxS" xmlns:wcm="http://schemas.microsoft.com/WMIConfig/2002/State" xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance"> <FirstLogonCommands> <SynchronousCommand wcm:action="add"> <CommandLine>cscript //B "%windir%\system32\slmgr.vbs" /ato</CommandLine> <Order>1</Order> </SynchronousCommand> </FirstLogonCommands> <RegisteredOwner>Adam Gaa</RegisteredOwner> <TimeZone>Central Standard Time</TimeZone> <OOBE> <NetworkLocation>Home</NetworkLocation> <ProtectYourPC>2</ProtectYourPC> </OOBE> </component> </settings> <cpi:offlineImage cpi:source="wim:e:/win8/source/sources/install.wim#Windows 8 Pro" xmlns:cpi="urn:schemas-microsoft-com:cpi" /> </unattend> Any help?
  5. After integrating updates, under the standalone "Component Removal" button, all packages are gone except for: This bug occurs in 1.4.0.x as as well as all the 1.5.x betas including the latest beta 13. Also, integrating KB2768703 after KB2756872 always results in KB2768703 failing. Is it a bug? Thus I have to integrate updates after removing packages. That seems backwards...
  6. Snip from log: I think that's why DISM still shows the packages as installed...
  7. Yes. I'm getting a lot of "Unable to..." log entries. Sorry, can't attach file (too big even when compressed). Using Component Removal.
  8. Whenever I remove packages using the latest beta, they aren't removed according to DISM. Also, when I reselect the image for removal it shows all packages again as if it didn't remove (becuase DISM still reports them as being installed). Have also tried 1.4.0.77 with same problem. Any help?
