  1. I think the darn bootscreens need updating again with the recent M$ hotfix. Mine returned to the original XP when I had had the Blue-Grey bootskin.

Basically, new hotfix KB956841 overrides your existing ntoskrnl.exe &/or ntkrnlmp.exe (they are located in system32 folder)

If you already have an existing copy of the vista boot addon but now doesn't work because u integrate KB956841,

u can transfer the bitmap file within your existing addon to KB956841 (if you extracted KB956841 using hotfix extractor. It is in subfolder SP3QFE ;kels uber pack has it in sendto menu). I have only 2 files :ntoskrnl.exe & ntkrnlmp.exe to change. And I changed it. Tested in Vm works. U need to repack back the existing addon the same way before u unpack it.

  2. Also, to start making addon, you should have the tools to do it, such as

    1) Kel's UberPacK v13.5 - one of the essential to go along with

    2) INF Assistant (for true addon type)

    3) CMenu

    4) 7zSfx or WinRAR (silent installer type)

There may be other tools but these should get you started...

    LimeWire4188intl_addon.cab

    Uninstallable: Yes

    Default folder: Program files\Limewire

  4. A question. When the file is made and you have the script. You put it in the svcpack folder. Does the program itself need to be in "cab" form or do you want the orginal "setup file".??

The example I was pointed to was lost. Can someone post a "winamp" example? Thats the one I am having the issues with.

You put your winamp setup file and your autoit compiled script in svcpack folder. Then in your entries.ini,

    There is a section [AddProgram]

Put your script name only such as winampscript.exe

See Tray Pilot Lite 1.10 for the example. (download and uncab it to see its structure)

Hope to see you put up this addon soon :D
