I noticed that wintollkit mounts windows in "WinToolKit" folder under "mount" subfolder.

My question is can i replace the files explorer.exe and the 5 patched theme files there before it finished all processes?

If its possible, how do i get access to replace these files? since the system says i can't because its locked.

Or there is another simpler way for that?

The files i want to replace are.

Patched explorer.exe with a new start menu orb.

Patched themeservice.dll, uxtheme.dll and themeui.dll.

so when i start windows after the instalation it already has my theme up and running.

You need to take ownership of those files first, then replace them. That is how I been doing it and it always works.

LOL, I totally forgot about taking ownership of files, thanks for reminding me.
