Reformatted drive recovery

Recommended Posts

OK heres the deal:

Some smartass took my disk and auto'ed his PC. :( (OK it was a friend but I mean the choice "Automatic Installation" means just that right?)

Now he needs crucial data off the formatted and installed Windows + Apps drive.

I took the drive out and have it slaved to my computer so its not being used.

What is the best recovery software? Price isn't really an option here (I did say crucial right?)

Sor far using a couple standard apps I have recovered like 40 gigs of assorted folders and files I need to sort through, but it doesn't look like the files are there.

U may try R-Studio software. This is the files best app a used to recover files.

But like u said. A windows had reinstalled over formatted HDD.

Files at the beginning of HDD sectors may not recovered. (New windows files overwritted that sectors)

Today my friend came with just same problem.

He just wanted his photos. :D We coluld recover over %95 of files

I hope u can recover all file u need.

PS:

Sorry this was an old topic. I am allitle drunk. I didnot look at first post date :D

But still i advice R-Studio :D Fast and stable.

I'll try it also, since I often get request for restore of deleted data without a backup :)
