I get an error trying to install a few apps. My newest headache is trying to install my printer drivers with this new tweaked windows xp sp3 for my HP Photo smart 8250 software.

I get this error...

I believe it's some kind of windows Installer error but I don't know how to fix it.

Please check if you have the necessary rights to this key:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run

Right click --> Permissions.

I presume you're logged in as an administrator.

I suspect also that some third party anti spy application could be blocking your startup folder, so please check that also..
