Hello, my old man uses Vista movie maker then DVD maker (because of localized language) and there are problems!

Video is imported from cam via firewire, tried fresh install with all updates, different codecs... .

Does anybody use this part of vista & wich codecs n stuff?

Have you tried any other third party software to see if it's the problem in DVD movie maker?

Nero Visio worked OK, but whole imported video is just one big scene when Vista movie maker detects when recording was paused. I'll try 64 bit version next weekend and see .... .

64 did no good, went back to xp 32 and Nero (dad bought a digital camera). Now everything is OK. Seems to me, that there must be something with Vista and my MB
