Can anyone explain to me how does the Windows 7 Toolkit registry hive feature works??

I want to import some registry tweaks to my new install.WIM image using Windows 7 Toolkit, what i dont understand is why does the registry hive settings from my current windows loads instead of the WIM image i selected!?

Can some one please explain how this works..

    Chrome (Android)
    1. Tap the lock icon next to the address bar.
    2. Tap Permissions → Notifications.
    3. Adjust your preference.
    Chrome (Desktop)
    1. Click the padlock icon in the address bar.
    2. Select Site settings.
    3. Find Notifications and adjust your preference.
