I want to create a small as possible install of windows. I know that the components highlighted in green are safe to remove, but I want to know more about all the others. I've searched all over google and cant find a list or any help on identifying what the rest of them are and what is safe to remove. Is there a list somewhere or any way that I can find more information on everything else in the components remover? Thanks

this would avoid having to rename the .wims via the menu options i'm visually impaired and the menu options are not that accessible hence me asking for this change. e.g an exammple of file name windows 10 v1809 x64 would have the build number at the end of it so it would look like windows 10 pro for workstations 10.0.17763 windows 10 home 10.0.17763. for other older builds with the same name display name i think it is called, you would have windows 10 home 10.0.10240 I hope this makes sence, i'm trying to make an aio of windows 7 8 8.1 and 10 from current release to present. I currently am unable to …

Hello. In Windows 7 section, there is no "K" version. The "K" version stands for Korean edition. ex) Windows 7 Professional K Now, there is no way to download the Korean version of Win7. Can you allow me to download the Korean version of Win7? (Please note that only difference between K and non-K version is language, thus non-K product key will work with K version.)

Excuse my poor english cause i'm french I am facing an issue with the Silent install + SFX section: When I try to delete some items, they actually aren't, but kept in the list when RunOnce is launched. My Runonce announce about 80 items, but i got only 30 of them to install. Is there a file (like an .xml or ini) where i can modify order and things installed?

You know someting that could work lego, you could integrate the updates into the lowest sku and export it many times and then use dism to convert the next higher "target edition" (same way method used to turn Windows 8 Pro to ProfessionalWMC) Integrate the updates into Starter (for x86 iso's) or into Home Basic (for x64,) then you export it multipple times, mount each image and covert & rename them BTW off topic but you should see this new feature in Windows 8, its very, very cool you should find a way of adding this command to your tool http://www.msfn.org/board/topic/153742-dism-improvements-in-windows-8/page__view__findpost__p__1015509

Sorry for these newbie questions. I am currently starting to evaluate Win Toolkit. I want to create a Win 7 Pro ISO WITH ALL Patches already applied. Therefore I started Wintoolkit process and selected one of the public available Win 7 ISOs. At some stage I get to the All-in-One Integrator. When I go now to the tab Basic--->Updates+ Languages then it seems to me that I have to add all currently available Patches manually. Furthermore all these patches (= *.cab files) must be already downloaded and stored on the local hard disk. Is this really true? I could imagine that there is a menu/option "search for all available patches…

When I go to page http://www.wintoolkit.co.uk/Home/Downloads or http://www.wincert.net/leli55PK/DISM/ then there is a download for DISM 8.1_6.3.9600.16384 I have (under 64bit Win 7 Pro) already a DISM.exe version but only 6.1.7600.16385 Is my version sufficient to work with Win Toolkit (when I only wnat to create a Win 7 ISO) or do I have to install the v8.1_6.3.9600 ? Can I install v8.1_6.3.9600 on Win 7 or is it only intended for Win 8 and above? Peter

Lets say I want not to add certain Patches (e.g. KB3035583 or KB3021917) to the Win Toolkit repository on the target ISO archive (for 64bit Win7). How can I achieve this? Maybe there is a way to add it at first but prevent later installation. is there an exclude file where I can enter all unwanted patch IDs? Thank you Peter

I dont know if the option is available elseware in the toolkit but the ISO maker should have an option to split the image over several DVD/CD's for those whose WIM is too large to fit on a single DVD or who only have a CD Rom drive they can span it over multiple CD's

Microsoft update catalog is quite usefull for downloading a large amount of update files. But they come in .cab format. The /extract command works on these too. Would be convenient if the toolkit would accept .cab files as well, not only .exe. Kind regards. edit: ops sry, just read about the "do not post request" a second to late

Hey Liam, At the moment, WTK use martins uxtheme-patcher, that pacht just uxtheme.dll, shsvcs.dll and themeui.dll: http://www.syssel.net/hoefs/software_uxtheme.php?lang=en It would be nice to have a option to use custom resources for example explorere.exe and shell32.dll. It exist various "Patcher" they can be also added into WTK as tweak, same way as theme-patcher. BTW: It would be much better that WTK patch/add the files itself instead of 3thparty tools. Explanation: Hacking dlls are old school, this method is outdated. The new way is to change resources directly in ram at windows start. Some tools make a reg for use a dll that replacing images for example. Here is …

Allow Silent Installer process to resume where it left off after computer restart. This to allow a reboot step somewhere in the S-I process.

Please don't post any new requests. Since my degree depends on v2.x. I will fully be focusing on the development of that. I will be trying to add as many as possible during the next couple of days. There is a request sub-forum for Win Toolkit v2.x here.
