Can someone please tell me what resources are used for the logoff screen in XP? The words used are Stand By, Turn Off and Restart.

shell32.dll and msgina.dll

just open with Resource Hacker or Restorator find and change it

mona is right logoff/shutdown dialog images are in shell32.dll and msgina.dll as bitmaps.

You can replace it with tools like resource hacker or resource tuner or restorator.

be sure you turn Windows file protection off , other wise you won't be able to replace windows file.

hi pri2sh you are right but oki say only string"Stand By, Turn Off and Restart" so he need to just find in string table and replace with it.nothis as bitmap
