Dynamically Computer Label with User Name and Computer Name

This registry tweak will dynamically update the Computer label on the desktop with the user name and computer name. For example, if N1K is logged on MyComp, then the label will be

key.reg

I know this is the "Vista" forum, which might suggest these are Vista only tricks, but does this work with XP as well?

I'm not sure, if you try this on xP, please give us feedback if it's working..Cheers

I use this INF version from Oleg_II for Win2K:

[Version]

Signature=$CHICAGO$

[DefaultInstall]

AddReg = Reg.Tweaks

; Name My Computer after user name (something like "Oleg 2's Computer" insted of "My Computer"

[Reg.Tweaks]

HKCR,"CLSID\{20D04FE0-3AEA-1069-A2D8-08002B30309D}","LocalizedString",0x20000,"%USERNAME%'s Computer"
