  1. Okay. Here's the link: logonui.noshadow.res.7z

Sorry mate for not being able to respond quickly.

Than one looks good too but I would prefer if this new x64 one looked exactly like the original one for 32-bit Windows XP but like you said, you didn`t make the originals.

Maybe i`m just a fussy person and like things to look perfect.

Apart from the above i`m still looking forward to your pack that is fully compatible with the 64-bit Windows XP.

  2. I wish I could claim credit for the original LogonUI.exe logos. Based on my discussion with Bober, I believe that the original logos were created by Stimpy. I'm literally trying to figure out how to recreate the entire logo based on the original logos, which is fustrating... especially since I'm just learning how to do this stuff.....

How is this version of the x64 logo?

I`ll test that out if you could post the logonui.exe res file again with the new bitmap in place???

    Thank You!

  3. Hi dougiefresh

I've tested out your XP Professional Edition logo for x64 and it looks great but the shadow effects on the text looks a bit overdone and makes the text look a bit weird on the logon screen.

Can you make the text appear just normal with a slight bit of a shadow effect just like you did on the original one for Windows XP pro x86???

See the screenshot below of your original ive attached and compare it to your new one above and you should see whot i mean.

  5. Hi mate.

Well it seems you can use the resources in your pack on the 64-bit Windows XP system files. Not directly with your installer but manully you can.

I have successfully updated the 64-bit Windows XP logonui.exe with the resources contained in your pack and it seems to work perfectly.

The only thing that needs fixed in my modified 64-bit logonui.exe with your resources is bitmap 2006 needs editing to include x64 between the Professional and the Edition text part of the bitmap, so I was wondering if you could please do me small favor and edit the bitmap for me so that it says Windows XP Professional x64 Edition???

The below attachment is the bitmap from your pack I would like edited so that it corresponds to the x64 version.

    Bitmap_21.bmp

    Thank you for responding.

  6. Thanks so much for responding.

I was wondering if the included Resource Hacker res files in your packs could be used on the 64-bit version but only possible if you manually updated the Windows XP 64-bit resources yourself within Resource Hacker??? or does the 64-bit version have completely different resources inside its system files than the 32-bit version???

    Thasnks for responding.

  7. Hi

I've tried 3 times now to integrate Cumulative Security Update for Internet Explorer 8 for Windows XP (KB980182) released some days ago for IE8 with nLite and it seems to integrate with no errors popping up but once i've installed my new windows xp, windows update still shows this update is available for me to download.

I haven't had this problem with other updates for IE8.

Does anyone know how to properly integrate this update because integrating it the normal way as you do with windows updates in nLite doesn`t see to be working on this update???

    Thanks for responding.

  8. Hi

Thanks for posting but what theme is it that contains the Windows XP Pro login screen you see in the screenshot in the installer??? The reason why i`m asking is because I installed the green theme but for some reason it gave me a Windows XP Home logo on the login screen instead of a Windows XP Pro logo on my Windows XP Pro.

    Thanks for responding

  10. The developer states it is x64 and x86 ; the v1.4_addon in post#73 contains all the files.

Your version is the 32-bit version.

I just found out early this morning that x64 and x86 versions are still separate versions.

I thought they were both in one program this time round as someone menchend that were on another website, but i tested it on my Windows XP x64 but it didn`t work, but the x64 version of TrueTransparency 1.4 below dose.
