  1. A late vote for WinKit, though I'll unofficially use my suggestion!
  2. Excellent stuff Reaper, so much easier than slipping in to each image.
  3. Does this mean I'll have to change my shortcuts?? Lego's Emporia of Modification Paraphernalia.
  4. As of yet, no. Even after numerous runs of W7T. If it occurs again and I get an error window, I'll be sure to get a snip before closing. BTW, wasn't asked to send error log for uploading, nor was one generated AFAIK. (Good to get back in here!!! )
  5. How to remove silent installs once integrated? Yes, I managed to get them into the install list twice!!
  6. Not sure if this was a net framework error, I assumed it was with PS I'd just opened so shut the error message straight away (Doh!!). Just after the start of my 3rd image pass, I get the warning and when I looked at W7T again I had a big red cross across the bottom progress area. Will say it didn't affect the running of the tool, just didn't know how much longer it would take! At this moment in time the 3rd pass is still running. I'll send the error file when it finishes if I get one.
  7. See? I have much to learn!! I've been rebuilding all the time! Didn't realise Component removaal included updates! Something very similar, was actually being a tad cynical. On a retraining course for electricians. Then I'll be qualified to collect trollies
  8. Excellent work as usual Legolash, loving the new layouts, good design work. I'm looking forward to the option of being able to remove already installed SoLoR updates for the updated updates (???) when they're updated. Would love to have helped as an Alpha Tester, but HMG have forced me to work for capitalist organisations for peanuts. I wear a monkey suit
  9. I finally got this to work, after a few days of swearing, kicking the pc and spitting at my monitor! :ranting: For anyone else who is going through this hell, these are the relevant parts that were needed: <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?> <unattend xmlns="urn:schemas-microsoft-com:unattend"> <settings pass="windowsPE"> <component name="Microsoft-Windows-International-Core-WinPE" processorArchitecture="x86" publicKeyToken="31bf3856ad364e35" language="neutral" versionScope="nonSxS" xmlns:wcm="http://schemas.microsoft.com/WMIConfig/2002/State" xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance"> <SetupUILanguage> <UILanguage>en-US</UILanguage> </SetupUILanguage> <InputLocale>0809:00000809</InputLocale> <SystemLocale>en-GB</SystemLocale> <UILanguage>en-US</UILanguage> <UserLocale>en-GB</UserLocale> </component> <component name="Microsoft-Windows-International-Core-WinPE" processorArchitecture="amd64" publicKeyToken="31bf3856ad364e35" language="neutral" versionScope="nonSxS" xmlns:wcm="http://schemas.microsoft.com/WMIConfig/2002/State" xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance"> <SetupUILanguage> <UILanguage>en-US</UILanguage> </SetupUILanguage> <InputLocale>0809:00000809</InputLocale> <SystemLocale>en-GB</SystemLocale> <UILanguage>en-US</UILanguage> <UserLocale>en-GB</UserLocale> </component> </settings> <settings pass="oobeSystem"> <component name="Microsoft-Windows-International-Core" processorArchitecture="x86" publicKeyToken="31bf3856ad364e35" language="neutral" versionScope="nonSxS" xmlns:wcm="http://schemas.microsoft.com/WMIConfig/2002/State" xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance"> <InputLocale>0809:00000809</InputLocale> <SystemLocale>en-GB</SystemLocale> <UILanguage>en-US</UILanguage> <UserLocale>en-GB</UserLocale> </component> <component name="Microsoft-Windows-International-Core" processorArchitecture="amd64" publicKeyToken="31bf3856ad364e35" language="neutral" versionScope="nonSxS" xmlns:wcm="http://schemas.microsoft.com/WMIConfig/2002/State" xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance"> <InputLocale>0809:00000809</InputLocale> <SystemLocale>en-GB</SystemLocale> <UILanguage>en-US</UILanguage> <UserLocale>en-GB</UserLocale> </component> <component name="Microsoft-Windows-Shell-Setup" processorArchitecture="x86" publicKeyToken="31bf3856ad364e35" language="neutral" versionScope="nonSxS" xmlns:wcm="http://schemas.microsoft.com/WMIConfig/2002/State" xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance"> <TimeZone>GMT Standard Time</TimeZone> </component> <component name="Microsoft-Windows-Shell-Setup" processorArchitecture="amd64" publicKeyToken="31bf3856ad364e35" language="neutral" versionScope="nonSxS" xmlns:wcm="http://schemas.microsoft.com/WMIConfig/2002/State" xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance"> <TimeZone>GMT Standard Time</TimeZone> </component> </settings> </unattend> Now to learn how / if I can skip the "enter key / activate" screens regardless of the version being installed.
  10. Hi, I'd like to add my User choice en-GB Language and en-GB Keyboard to the Autounattend.xml with W7T and skip this UI screen during install. Is this at all possible, and if so how? I'll admit I haven't a clue, and what I've seen so far is confusing me! So any help much appreciated. This is how it stands at the moment: TIA for any help
  11. Was a pretty recent one, maybe, at the rate you update, 4, now 5 releases old. Its not a biggy as I can do it with my bat file and reg entries when I first install. Just thought you ought to be aware. No doubt in 1.4 all will be cured . Excellent work btw, don't think I've said that before.
  12. When I choose to display (Explorer) Control Panel View as Small Icons I still get Category View on test runs in VBox.
  13. Jeez! You know how to travel the World, don't you!!! Was that all the bus fare you could muster?? Probably the wrong place to ask this, but as I use my pre-compiled to use on many computers, the only tweak I've applied is to change the Control Panel view to small icons, but it doesn't seem to take when I've tested in VBox. Any thoughts?
  14. Excellent, Thanks Lego (My fav toy when I was a lot younger than I am now!!) And just noticed you're a fellow Brit, and not that far from me, You being in Yorkshire and me a Brummie in exile in Durham!
  15. Is it possible to remove a wa once you've compiled the image? I've changed my mind, deleted from ISO but they still show up as "Select what to install" when running iso in VBox. I'd like to remove them from the W7T installer.
  16. With regards to removing Eastern Language support. I do it immediately after a fresh install using a batch file(s) I made after following the advice I found here: This thread: http://answers.micro...e4-2a7432d8e161 led to this blog: http://www.support-i...on-latin-fonts/ And I finished up with this: http://www.w7forums....stem-t6118.html As long as the Meiryo font is not removed I've never had a problem installing office. So Meiryo is not in my "to be removed" font batch file. You may want to try this under "normal circumstances" before commiting the removals to a disc. By The Way. My batch files may not be "elegant", I'm no scripter/programmer . But they are functional!!
