Every time I edit a post spaces are added in between 

 and
paragraphs, even when you preview spaces are added.

I always have to delete these (BTW I turn off rich text formatting)

    I think I just noticed the same thing.  It seemed like the extra line feeds were added in between the 

     tag and text inside the code block.  I noticed the extra space after I posted.  After editing the post to remove the extra lines, I could not get it to happen again on the same post no matter how many times I tried to edit again.
