anyone know how to make it that MSN will let you use the current playing song feature without having to install windows media player 9 series? i dont want to install it as it is more or less useless to me as im going to be using winamp or foobar.

any ideas are appreciated

Uff, I'm sorry, I couldn't tell 'cause I'm using Winamp and plug-in for which has "now playing" feature..

i have the plugin installed too. but when i set my personal message bar to "Turn on what im listening to" i get an error message saying it needs windows media player. The only way i know to fix it right now is to install media player then go back to winamp. i just thought there was a way to trick msn messenger into thinking it was already installed. i dont want to install media player cuz frankly, winamp is better imo.
