November 2, 20204 yr You will need bootable usb drive to clean install windows 7, you can make the partition during the process. Bootcamp is also better option to install windows on mac. For further information refer to the mac support website.

Once before I did just that, I have formated drive in my Macbook and installed Windows 7 from the scratch. BTW, if you ever decide to go back to MacOS, you'll be able to do that also.
