hi

can you please make eset smart security addon please?

thanks in advance

Easy enough to make. First, download the trial version from ESET.

The comment you use is:

start /wait msiexec.exe /i ess_nt32_enu.msi /qb /norestart

No problem, personally i don't like it, it alerts me to way to much stuff and half most of the time its just because im editing system files etc.. So i just use the anti-virus.

Does anyone know the reg entries for the AV to input my username and password??

I look into the registry and could only find the username field, no password field??

You go to the 'Setup' tab, enable 'Advanced mode', then click 'Import/Export settings'. You'll end up with an .xml file (username/password are encrypted).

Now if you can figure out how to apply those settings unattendedly during install...that's important!.

hey deviance,

here you go with the registry username and password entry:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\ESET\ESET Security\CurrentVersion\Plugins\01000400\Profiles\@My profile]

"UpdateType"=dword:00000002

"Username"="xxxxxxxxxxxxxx"

"Password"=hex:xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
