I want to insert this login animation as above after the boot screen( just like in windows vista) in windows XP installation Cd.

In one of the site some one has posted "Windows XP PRO SP3 RTM 5512 VistaVG Ultimate" in that he has used this.

For this is it possible to create an addon pl.

that website looks sketchy.. also looks like a pirated version of windows, although i dont know for sure unless i download the whole thing (which i'm too lazy to do)

3. In Windows Vista an animated Vista Logo is also displayed before the Login screen. You can also do a similar thing in XP. Just download required BMP file from here:

Open regedit and goto:

CODE

HKEY_USERS\.DEFAULT\Control Panel\Desktop

In right-side pane change the value of Wallpaper String value to the Path of downloaded BMP file. e.g., if you saved the BMP file at "D:\Startup.bmp", then set the value of Wallpaper to D:\Startup.bmp. Now you'll get a similar Vista Logo just before the Login screen in XP too.

Not sure how to make addons, but maybe someone who does will be able to look at this and devise some kind of method for ya. ;) By the way it's not exactly animated.
