When I start Windows Live IM my internet connection disconnects and I just reformatted. I am using Vista and Windows firewall. I am not using wireless. After a few seconds I get my connection back. Is there any known issues of this or fixes?

    Could it be your router maybe?

    Check UPnP settings in the router. Some old routers would crap out if you tried to use UPnP.

    Configure browser push notifications
    Chrome (Android)
    1. Tap the lock icon next to the address bar.
    2. Tap Permissions → Notifications.
    3. Adjust your preference.
    Chrome (Desktop)
    1. Click the padlock icon in the address bar.
    2. Select Site settings.
    3. Find Notifications and adjust your preference.
