Posted August 1, 200817 yr I have a laptop that has a password protected HDD, is there any way around it? This is a Dell laptop that requires a password for the HDD to load the OS.THANKS
August 1, 200817 yr You should get to laptop battery (small one on the board) somehow and remove it for couple of minutes. That should do the trick..

August 1, 200817 yr Author LMAO, who hasn't been in that situation. I had 8 different user ID's at a place I used to work at and they had it setup where you couldn't use the same ID or pass which also changed monthly. Put cool, you have actually done it.
