skorch41
Ok, i got an avi video file, i tried to play it on wmp11 but it says there was a missing codec. it was Intel ITU H.264 (H264) codec that was missing. i got the same problems too back when i'm on xp. what i did was download vlc media player then play the video there and it worked fine because vlc has a Intel ITU H.264 (H264) codec.now, for the last 2weeks vlc is working fine, but now it doesn't seem to show any video! i only hear the sounds of the video, no picture at all. i tried wmv, mpg, avi but no luck.. i've reinstalled vlc twice and still no picture.. do you know what's the problem? why is it only making sounds, with no picture? NIM
Try this..Remove all of installed codecs from the system.Use attached codec pack and make a full install when prompted.Hope it helps.
