superdave4 Posted July 17, 2011 Share Posted July 17, 2011 I recently stumbled upon this toolkit,I have not had a good experience.I'm stuck at the very beginning, yet there are no tutorials, no guides, no FAQ. It's either you know how to operate the toolkit or you don't.I tried to capture the image of my .iso for two days before deciding to delete and look for a different program. But after searching around further, I thought it might be best to come back and make a thread.I select "Capture Image" from the menu.Then I've tried selecting the folder my .iso is in.The folder my .iso's contents was extracted to through another tool.And the mounted .iso's drive F:\None of these output any form of an WIM to start tweaking. And since I can't create a WIM I can't use any of the tools options. I've used this .iso to install the OS I'm running. I've used this .iso fine with other tweakers. It just doesn't work with this one.Any advice? Any solutions? I'd very much like to see the options this tool can add. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
*Reaper* Posted July 17, 2011 Share Posted July 17, 2011 (edited) Mount your iso in a virtual drive...Copy the entire contents of the mounted virtual drive to a empty folder of your choosing..(or just copy your original Windows dvd)Open the toolkit and when asked for the location of the .wim file, browse to the folderwhere you copied the virtual drive to, then browse to the "sources" folder....That is where the install.wim and boot.wim files are located.....Have fun Edited July 17, 2011 by *Reaper* Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
