[How To] Change Vista Border Padding

NIM

Recommended Posts

The border around the boxes is quite big in Windows Vista, that includes the basic style also. It can be changed in this way:

1. Right click the desktop, click personalize

2. Click window color and appearance

3. Click "Open classic appearance properties for more color options"

4. Click advanced

5. Scroll down to "Border Padding" which should be set as 4.

6. Decrease this number to get a thinner border
