  1. I didn't realize it was superseded ...I have been adding it
  2. Seems like a very reasonable request if people want the installer updated :prop:
  3. I'm curious.... did you contribute? then you could remove the contribution also
  4. I think that's a great idea, additionally if their is a closed thread or pointer in each of the WIN7 and WIN8 threads to the new location this would be a great way to really make the tool easy to find.
  5. How dumb of me I keep forgetting that 3.* is included with WIN7 and not part of Rick's pack... thanks for the wakeup
  6. FYI WU just showed these on my new test install using the 4.5.3 installer Security Update for Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5.1 on Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1 for x64-based Systems (KB2937610)More information: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2937610 Security Update for Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5.1 on Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1 for x64-based Systems (KB2943357)More information: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2943357
  7. I haven't been around much due to many personal and business reasons but after reading this I wanted to let anyone that is interested know that I have used Rick to help me with quite a few enterprise deployments for my clients and he has always been super reliable and an absolute pro at what he does... in fact I wish I could keep him busy enough to keep him working for just me anyone can feel free to contact me if they have questions.
  8. Sorry I was late with my donation and wish I could do more...
  9. AMAZING effort on your part Lego... I can't keep up with all the versions :-) THANKS ...also a BIG THANKS to those so actively testing and helping... this will surely make an already good tool GREAT!!!
  10. In the middle of testing WU showed me this: Update for Microsoft Security Essentials - 4.5.216.0 (KB2949787) Download size: 8.2 MB You may need to restart your computer for this update to take effect. Update type: Important This package will update Microsoft Security Essentials client on the user's machine. More information: http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=195462 Help and Support: http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=195463 EDIT: When I used the above link it downloaded the 304 version... I can't find where to download this anywhere
  11. Thanks for all this work!!!
  12. Rick... are you saying that we don't need to add this to WIN7 x86/x64?
  13. Update: Well this has been a LOT more of a challenge than I thought... unfortunately I ran into issues with every tool and every method I tried. Some, like the office update problem I had took me almost a week to work out... so the bottom line is this is going very slow for me. In the interim I have been working more and more with KUC, DISM and now sysprep. When I start to make sense of this all I will report back.... didn't want people to think I forgot :type:
  14. Lego... just wondering if your latest tests versions addressed this by any chance?
  15. WOW that's more than IMPRESSIVE its the Holy Grail :dribble:
  16. Security Update for Microsoft Silverlight (KB2932677) http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=42250&WT.mc_id=rss_security_updates Is there a current installer that includes the updates?
  17. I am under some pressure to get some new integration's done so I downloaded a copy of WinToolkit_1.4.29 and tried that with my SFX compilation using a baseline image that included RDP8.0/8.1... the install ran correctly and the installer did not start early nor did any installs run at the same time. I did still get the shutdown string problem but I will need to run numerous integration's with the newest WinToolKIt versions before I can be sure about the whole shutdown command issue
  18. In order to not confuse things I created a bug report and will continue my updates and findings in this post: http://www.wincert.net/forum/topic/12034-wintoolkit-installer-running-next-installer-before-the-previous-has-finished/
  19. Rather than retype and duplicate the posts I will point to my reports: http://www.wincert.net/forum/topic/11495-solved-wintoolkit-installer-runs-too-early/?p=105418
