Using 1.4.0.32, with 106 Updates (.msu) an 48 Silent-Installer:
1h 20min with WinToolkit-Temp on HDD
37 min with WinToolkit-Temp on SSD!
All is working fine.
Regards, Thiersee
-
I tried just now the 1.4.0.31 and it works: all progs have been installed, what I have put in AIO as silent-install and all updates have been integrated.
BTW: german OS and (of course) german updates.
@Legolash2o:
May be the problem of loginvovchyk are russian characters?

intergrated the files i check it out and it says install pending to all but one file... ????
It's OK, they will be installed on the first logon, if you install windows.

Why do you install IE9 as .MSU and Language Pack as .CAB?
Install IE9 as .exe and language pack as .msu and it will work fine.

Hi,
I tried version .26 again, three times!) and, how should I say it?, I did NOT get any error...
The matter could have been caused by acorrupted file, no idea.
You can forget this thread and close it.
Sorry
Regards, Thiersee

No, I went to eat and when I come back I saw the "Complete"-Message (Status-Line) and a windows with the error on the top; as i closed the tool I got an option, to upload the error immediately or later.
-
Yes Sir!
After all the integrations (Updates, Silent-Installer, Driver, Tweaks, and so on); in the status-line on the bottom stays "Completed".
BTW:
Between the runs I didn't make any changes.1st run with version 1.4.0.26
2nd run with version .25
3rd run with version .26
-
Hi,
I did try version .26 and got an error (uploaded) at the end of the run; I changed back to version .25 an d got no errors; I changed back to version .26 and I got NO ERRORS :g:!
What could have caused the uploaded error?
Between the runs I didn't make any changes.

Sorry, it toke a bit longer.
Yes, it works without any issue!
Image has been unmounted without "corrupt", WinToolkit temp folder and mounted wim in the registry have been correct deleted.
What I didn't see in the .22:
I started the AIO, choosed the image and the WinToolkit.ini and clicked on "Start": normally should come a box "Give a name for this session" (or like this), but I didn't see this box in version 1.4.0.22; in version 1.4.0.T1 I got the box again.
I.e.: for me its's OK!
Thanks & regards
-
Either way i need to know what you did? i.e. Just mount the image in WIM Manager? Use it with All-In-One Integrator? Is there a last session.ini or error log?
I just finished two test-run with version .18 and .22 and, how should I say it?, no issue :g: :ranting:!
The only difference to before: I didn't touch in any way the explorer and the temp folder!?
Anyway, I will try the new test version.
-
I'm keeping on testing, because the "problem" comes on my computer now also with version 1.4.0.18.
Either way i need to know what you did? i.e. Just mount the image in WIM Manager? Use it with All-In-One Integrator? Is there a last session.ini or error log?Now also in wim-manager.
-
Even if you have that folder open in explorer it causes the problem.
It was expanded but NOT selected.
Either way i need to know what you did? i.e. Just mount the image in WIM Manager? Use it with All-In-One Integrator? Is there a last session.ini or error log?I use the image with All-In-One-Integrator; a "corrupt.log" and a "Windows 7 PROFESSIONAL" are in my working-directory in Mount Logs folder and the WinToolkit.ini in Last Sessions.
I would run WinToolkit again, but not now (it's too late  )
Regards, Thiersee
P.S.: why am I not permitted to upload log-files?
-
It will only show as corrupt if you had a file or folder within the mount path open whilst Win Toolkit was unmounting. It also happens if you have other programs such as RT7Lite using the same mount folder as well.
I don't have other programs using same mount folder and the mount folder is EMPTY.
-
It works, only the Problem with "corrupt" on a new start after a complete run of WinToolkit is still present.

2) http://www.win-lite.de/wbb/board195-windows-7/board196-win7-tools-zur-image-bearbeitung/board269-special-win-toolkit/16825-win-toolkit-v1-4-0-fehlermeldungen-bugs/ (user KRX and me)
-
May be, but version .18 did it automatically on closing of WinToolkit.
Anyway I don't use version .21 because of silent-installer matter.

-
Again can I confirm the problem, also with version 1.4.0.21.
-
I have a problem running WinToolkit 1.4.0.21:
today I tried three times to run WinToolkit and every time, after the run has completed, the temp-folder (D:\WinToolkit) has not been cancelled; as result I got "corrupted Image", if I restarted the programm, without a possibility to unmount this corrupted image! The temp-folder (Mount) has no content!
Only if I delete the temp-folder can I restart WinToolkit and reload the same image.
All this does not happen with version 1.4.0.18!
Regards, Thiersee
-
With version .17 & .18 yes, with .19 & .20 no.
-
Here is my registry-file for both versions 1.4.0.19 and 1.4.0.18.
-
I will need the registry file if you don't mind?
Thanks.
Do you mean me?
Thiersee
-
I confirm what compstuff says!
Only the first programm will be installed (and I don't see the version-nr. of installers).

I was reffering to .msu updates NOT through DISM (works very well since the beginning of time), but as silent installers. The safe bet is still version 10, I'm pretty sure in v18 .msu will not be installed when run at first logon.
OK ; I don't have .msu as silent installers.
-
...version 18 had different issues (like .msu not installing), .....
I installed 90 Updates as .msu and it works (version .18).
-
Version 1.4.0.18 (Installer 4.5.2) installs all the SFX/Silent Installers, Vesrions .19 and .20 does not (Installer 4.6).
[Solved] Can't add the Windows Update Agent Cabs
in Win Toolkit
Posted
May be this Patch will be listed within the silent-installer with the note "not needed", if you use Win7 with SP1 already integrated and is only a pre-install patch before SP1!
Anyway this patch will be installed within Windows-Update (don't ask me why!).
